Prices. All prices on this website include VAT. Government fees are not part of those prices. They are paid separately to the authorities and carry no VAT (LSSI, art. 10.1.f).
2. Private service: we are not the authorities
Un Papel Menos is a private service for immigration procedures. It is not the authorities or a public body.
- It is not the Oficina de Extranjería (the government immigration office), the Policía Nacional (Spain’s national police), the Delegación or Subdelegación del Gobierno (the central government’s offices in the regions and provinces), any ministry, the Generalitat de Catalunya (the Government of Catalonia) or a town hall. It has no connection with them.
- It does not sell or get appointments. Each person books their own appointment through the authorities’ channels, and booking it costs nothing.
- The decision on each application always rests with the authorities. Un Papel Menos cannot assure the outcome or the timeframe of any procedure.
- Un Papel Menos does not provide legal representation services. Court proceedings require a lawyer.
3. What this website is for and how it is used
The website explains immigration procedures and publishes the prices of the service. It also lets you contact the team by WhatsApp, phone, email or a form.
Anyone using the website agrees to:
- use it lawfully and in good faith;
- not send documents, document numbers, health information or criminal records through the form;
- not provide other people’s details without their permission;
- not try to damage the website, overload it or access non-public areas.
Hiring us for a procedure has its own rules, which are set out in the terms and conditions. Personal data are processed in line with the privacy policy. Cookies are explained in the cookie policy.
4. The information on the website
The texts about procedures are general information. Each procedure page shows its legislation, its government sources and the date of its last review. The texts are written with the help of artificial intelligence and say so. Until someone from the team has reviewed them, they are shown as drafts.
Immigration law changes often. The information on the website does not replace a review of each case. Nor does it replace the text of the law published in the Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE, Spain’s Official State Gazette). If an error is found, it is corrected and the review date is updated. Errors can be reported to exactitudfiscal@gmail.com.
5. Intellectual and industrial property
The texts, the design, the logo and the name “Un Papel Menos” belong to their owner or are used with permission. They may not be copied, modified or used for commercial purposes without written authorisation.
You may link to any page on this website and quote short extracts, stating the source and the link.
The laws, regulations and public decisions cited are not subject to intellectual property rights (Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, art. 13). The fonts and icons on the website are used under their open licences.
6. Liability
The owner takes care to keep the information correct and up to date, with its source and date. The owner is not liable for:
- the decisions, timeframes or changes of approach of the authorities;
- the content of third-party websites that are linked to, such as the BOE or the authorities’ online offices;
- interruptions to the website due to maintenance, technical reasons or causes beyond the owner’s control.
None of the above limits the rights that the law gives consumers.
7. Links to other websites
Links to other websites are there so you can read the government sources, such as the BOE. Their content and policies are the responsibility of whoever publishes them.
8. Languages
Support is offered in Spanish, English, Catalan, French and Chinese. The quote, the contract and the terms are provided in Spanish or in Catalan, as the client chooses (Consumer Code of Catalonia, art. 128-1).
If a legal text is published in several languages, the Spanish and Catalan versions prevail over the others. The others are courtesy translations.
9. Applicable law
This website and its use are governed by Spanish law. Consumers keep the protection that consumer law gives them. A clause requiring them to go to a court other than the one for their place of residence or the place where the contract is performed would be unfair (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, art. 90.2).
How to make a complaint or claim, and the official complaint forms, are explained in the terms and conditions.
