Terms and conditions
These terms apply to the services that Un Papel Menos provides at a distance to consumers: case reviews and immigration procedures. They are provided in writing with each quote and can be saved or printed from this page.
Translation for information only. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Who provides the service
The service is provided by the owner of Un Papel Menos. Their name, tax ID number (NIF) and address are in the legal notice.
Contact: exactitudfiscal@gmail.com and +34 623 82 89 38 (phone and WhatsApp).
2. What the service is
Un Papel Menos is a private service for immigration procedures. It is not the authorities or a public body. It is provided at a distance, by WhatsApp, phone, email and video call.
- The decision rests with the authorities. Un Papel Menos undertakes to work carefully so that the application file arrives complete and well explained. It cannot assure the outcome or the authorities’ timeframe.
- Court proceedings are not included. If the case has to go to court, a lawyer is needed, with separate fees.
- Appointments are not included. Un Papel Menos does not sell or get appointments. Appointments, such as the fingerprinting appointment, are booked by the client, and booking them costs nothing.
- Some parts are done in person. Fingerprinting for the TIE (foreigner identity card) is personal and done in person.
3. Price
- Fixed price with VAT included. The price of each service is published on the prices page. It is confirmed in writing in the quote. The price in the quote is never higher than the price published that day (Consumer Code of Catalonia, art. 251-3.6).
- Government fees are extra. They belong to the authorities, carry no VAT and are not part of the price. The quote shows their form number, their amount and the estimated total cost. If it is agreed that Un Papel Menos will pay a fee in advance, it is charged at its exact amount, with the receipt. It is a disbursement: it carries no VAT or surcharge (Law 37/1992 on VAT, art. 78.Tres.3.º).
- Other costs that may be needed. Documents from other bodies or from the country of origin, sworn translations and apostilles. They are not included. If they are needed, this is stated before starting.
- Extra work. If work is needed that is not in the quote, it is quoted in writing beforehand. It is only done if the client accepts it.
4. What the price of a procedure includes
- Review of the case and the documents.
- Full preparation of the application file.
- Replies to requests from the authorities about that procedure.
- Follow-up until the decision, with an update on every development.
It does not include government fees or documents from other bodies or from the country of origin. Nor does it include sworn translations, apostilles, appeals or court proceedings. The appeal for reconsideration (recurso de reposición) is a separate service, with its own price.
5. Initial guidance and case review
- First guidance on WhatsApp: free. It is used to say which procedure applies and what it costs. It creates no commitment.
- Case review: 60 € VAT included. A member of the team reviews the situation by video call or phone. The result is the procedure that applies, the list of documents and a fixed quote in writing. The price is given before it is booked (Consumer Code, art. 251-3.5). If the procedure is hired within the next 30 days, its cost is deducted from the price of the procedure.
6. How to hire the service
Today, nothing is hired or paid for on this website. The contract is concluded in writing, as follows:
- Request. The person describes their situation by WhatsApp, phone, email or with the form.
- Written quote. They receive a quote with the service, the price, the itemised government fees and how long it is valid. They receive it together with these terms and the privacy policy.
- Review and correction. Before accepting, they can review the quote and ask for any detail to be corrected. A new one is sent to them.
- Express acceptance. If they agree, they accept the quote in writing. Silence is not acceptance.
- Confirmation. They receive confirmation of the contract on a durable medium, such as an email or a PDF. It includes these terms and the withdrawal form. They receive it before the service begins (TRLGDCU, art. 98.7).
The quote states when and how payment is made. Un Papel Menos keeps a copy of the contract and provides it to the client on request (LSSI, art. 27).
Language of the contract. The quote, the contract and these terms are provided in Spanish or in Catalan, as the client chooses (Consumer Code, art. 128-1; TRLGDCU, art. 98.1). Explanations in English, French or Chinese are provided as a courtesy.
7. What is asked of the client
- To give true and complete information, and to say if anything changes.
- To provide genuine, valid documents, through the secure channel indicated. Never on WhatsApp or by email.
- To book their appointments and attend in person when the procedure requires it, as with fingerprinting.
- To pay the government fees that apply.
- To reply on time when asked for something, especially if the authorities have set a deadline.
Un Papel Menos is not liable for the effects of false or incomplete information. Nor for documents that were not provided on time.
8. Timeframes
Un Papel Menos only gives its own timeframes. When it has all the documents, it states the date on which the application file will be ready. The authorities’ time limits are set by law and do not depend on Un Papel Menos.
9. Right of withdrawal
Anyone who enters into a distance contract as a consumer can withdraw from it within 14 calendar days. They do not have to give any reason or pay anything, except in the case explained below (TRLGDCU, art. 102).
- From when. The period runs from the day the contract is concluded (art. 104.a).
- How. With any clear statement sent to exactitudfiscal@gmail.com or to the postal address in the legal notice. The withdrawal form can be used, but it is not compulsory (art. 106.1). It is enough to send it before the period ends (art. 106.2). It is advisable to do so in writing: the person withdrawing must be able to prove they did so (art. 106.4).
- Refund. Un Papel Menos refunds the amount paid within 14 calendar days at most from receiving the withdrawal (art. 107.1). It uses the same payment method, at no cost to the client. If the client asked for the service to start earlier, the part already provided is deducted (see below).
If the client asked for the service to start earlier. For the service to start within the 14 days, the client must expressly ask for it (art. 98.8). If they then withdraw, they only pay for the part of the service already provided, in proportion to the total agreed price (art. 108.4). They pay nothing for what has already been done if they did not expressly ask for it or were not informed of their right of withdrawal (art. 108.5.a).
When it is lost. The right of withdrawal is lost when the service has been fully provided. For that, it must have started with the client’s prior express consent, in the knowledge that they would lose this right (art. 103.a).
10. Customer service, complaints and claims
Any complaint or claim can be sent:
- by email: exactitudfiscal@gmail.com;
- by phone or WhatsApp: +34 623 82 89 38, a number at no extra cost beyond that of a normal call;
- by post, to the address in the legal notice.
Each claim receives a reference and a written receipt. The reply arrives within 15 days at most from when it is submitted (TRLGDCU, art. 21.2 and 21.3).
Official complaint, claim and report forms. Un Papel Menos has the official complaint, claim and report forms (hojas oficiales de queja, reclamación y denuncia) of the Generalitat de Catalunya. They can be requested by email and are sent in electronic format (Consumer Code, art. 211-14; Decree 121/2013, art. 7.3).
If the claim is not resolved:
- Un Papel Menos will provide written details of at least one competent alternative dispute resolution body. It will also say whether it will take part in that procedure. It will do so when replying or, at the latest, one month after the claim (Law 7/2017, art. 40.3).
- In Catalonia, you can go to the consumer office of your municipality or comarca (county), or to the Agència Catalana del Consum (Catalan Consumer Agency).
- From other autonomous communities, you can go to the consumer service of the community where you live.
The European online dispute resolution platform no longer exists: it was abolished in 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228). That is why this website does not link to it.
11. Personal data
Personal data are processed in line with the privacy policy.
12. Applicable law and courts
The contract is governed by Spanish law and, where applicable, by the Consumer Code of Catalonia. Consumers always keep the protection that consumer law gives them. No clause applies that would require them to go to a court other than the one for their place of residence or the place where the contract is performed (TRLGDCU, art. 90.2).
13. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. Each contract is governed by the version accepted with it. The date of the current version is shown on this page.
